Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman commented on Tuesday about the controversial cover of France Football magazine, released last Monday. The famous French publication showed a montage of Barça striker Lionel Messi, wearing the uniform of Paris Saint-Germain, a club that wants to count on his football next season.

The Blaugrana coach, however, preferred to talk about it and guaranteed that speculations about the Argentine’s future “are not relevant”. “I don’t know why they do that. If they want to talk about Leo [Lionel Messi’s nickname] and his future, let them talk. It’s not important to me,” he said at a news conference.

The cover with the montage makes reference to the plan that PSG would have to sign Messi, listing several factors that could attract the Argentine to the Parisian club. Messi has a contract with Barcelona until June 30. The player has not yet reached an agreement for the renewal and can already sign a pre-contract with another team.
